Tikona Fort, popularly known as Vitandgad, is a hill fortress of the Pawan Maval Region. The altitude of Tikona Fort is 3,633 ft from sea level and it resembles the shape of a triangle from an aerial view hence the name Tikona. The panoramic view of the Maval region from this fort includes the view of Tung Fort, Bhatrashi Hill, Jambhul Hill, Lohagad, Fagne Dam, and Visapur. The Tikona fort consists of two caves namely, the Buddhist and Satavahana Caves, which adds to the historical significance of the Tikona Fort. Apart from the cave, Trimbakeshwar Temple is also a major attraction at Tikona Fort. The panoramic view of the entire valley from the top of the Tikona Fort makes the Tikona Fort trek near Lonavala.

Trekkers will begin their trek at around 3:30 AM to reach the top by approximately 7:00 AM.
07:00 AM - Breakfast & Explore
After a tiring trek, trekkers will rest and have breakfast while witnessing the surreal panoramic view of the entire valley from the top of Tikona Fort.
12:00 PM - Explore Tikona Fort
Explore the temples and caves of the Tikona Fort and enrapture its incredible beauty.
2:00 PM - Lunch
Trekkers will be treated to delicious local delicacies and warm hospitality.
10:00 PM - End of a Beautiful Journey
Bid farewell to the trek buddies as the trek ends here.

You need to carry trekking shoes, a raincoat, a torch (headtorch preferable), trek pants, dry-fit t-shirts, glares, mobile cover, water bottle socks, sanitiser, mask & personal First Aid.
