Vasota Fort is located in Satara village, Maharashtra. Satara is a UNESCO Heritage Site because of its Kaas Plateau also known as the “Plateau of Flowers”. Camping under the night sky is like a cherry on top of a Plateau of Flowers. The Vasota Fort was incorporated into Swarajya in 1655 by the legendary Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during the conquest of Javli. The height of the Vasota Fort is around 3,842 ft from sea level.
